Just a quick test of deep focus photography using my secondhand G7X, running my Get Brackets script.
The focal length was 8.8mm and the exposure was set to ISO 125, at an aperture of f/5.0 and a shutter speed of 1/10s.
I focused on the nearest object, the coffee capsule, and set the infinity blur to a quarter of the CHDK CoC, ie for the far field.
The overlap blur was left at the CoC.
The script predicted 11 images and took 11.
The images were ingested into Lightroom and minimal exposure adjustments made to the first image and synced to the other 10.
A round trip to Helicon Focus was made, where I decided to use Method B.
Here is the resultant deep focus image:
